Summary:
So I gave this album a listen and I didn't realize how far my taste in music has shifted over the last twenty or so years. In particular, there was a time around high school where my range of music included some heavy rock. However, nowadays heavy rock is essentially absent from my range of music.

Despite rarely listening to metal, I found it interesting that the only song which I rated a "2" is currently the second most popular TOOL song on Spotify. It is also the only song from this album on their Top 10 most popular. Looking further, I discovered that it's one of two songs* by TOOL that made it to the Billboard HOT 100 which probably suggest the song has a broader audience compared to other TOOL songs. Either that or it was used in a movie.

Overall Rating: 3.0/5
Favorite Song: "Schism"

*The other is "Fear Inoculum." However, "Schism" spent 20 weeks on the charts with a peak of 67 while "Fear Inoculum" only spent a single week on the charts at 93.
