I've heard some of these tracks on Spotify prior to listening to this album (e.g., "Dance the Night", "Barbie World", and "Speed Drive"), which have motivated me to listen to the entire album even without having seen the movie.

I've heard "Barbie World" several times before and I'm still not impressed by it
"Butterflies" by GAYLE samples Crazy Town's "Butterfly"; what a throwback ["Butterfly" was released in 2000]
"Choose Your Fighter" sounds like a DDR song [I did not find any evidence that it sampled any DDR song]
Huh. That sounds familiar (start of "Barbie Dreams")... "when I close my eyes..." "fantasy..." Oh I got it... "I know you are there staring back at me." These are lyrics from "Together Again" by Janet Jackson. Basically these two lyrics have the same exact sound: "When I close my eyes, it's a fantasy | Perfect plastic life from a magazine" and "Everywhere I go, every smile I see | I know you are there smilin' back at me." [okay, yes. I confirmed the track is an interpolation of "Together Again"]
