I don't really get what this song is about. But it has a nice sound to it ("Please Please Please")
Generally Sabrina Carpenter often overlaps with Ariana Grande's sound, and this song sounds like it could have been on Grande's 2020 album Positions ("Bed Chem")

Summary:
Overall, this album has some catchy tracks, but I don't find the overall album to be one that I would listen to on repeat.

At first I thought I would easily choose "Bed Chem" over "Espresso", but "Espresso" grew on me. I love the Ariana Grande vibe of "Bed Chem", but the lines in "Espresso" are more clever and catchy. After some back and forth, I chose "Espresso".
