I like the melody for "I guess I'm mastering the art of" but I don't like the drawn out "starting over." In a rewrite that keeps the first half (eight counts), I'd go with filling the next eight counts by repeating "starting over" twice, i.e., "starting over... starting over..." Maybe add a little "mmm mmm" in between for filler: "starting over mmm mmm starting over." I think the elongated "starting over" can still be used as part of the outro. Maybe this rewrite is a residual of older pop music though whereas the song could be produced with a fresher more modern audience in mind. Not sure.
Uninteresting collaboration with Ariana Grande.
Doesn't come close to matching the deep sadness or general heaviness of the original("Mad World")

Summary:
For the most part, I thought the tracks on the standard edition were expressive but didn't catch my attention. That is I think they were heavily focused on the lyrics and I was in a mood for enjoying the general melody and music (I recently praised Hope Tala's album Sensitive Soul for it's ability to be musically interesting to the extent that the words were no longer important).
