First listen. Deluxe.
"The Prologue" is semi-interesting. I would only listen to it while listening to the entire album.
"Bad At Love" sounds familiar. It must have been on a Spotify playlist (e.g., Daily Mix or Discover Weekly).
"Strangers" might be a "3." At the least it's higher than "Eyes Closed" and "Alone."
I listened to the top five rated songs again ("2"s and "3"s).
"Now Or Never" and "Bad At Love" have different tones and yet nevertheless I leaned towards "Now Or Never" as being the better of the two.
"Strangers" doesn't compare to either "Now Or Never" or "Bad At Love."
I confirmed that I like "Strangers" much better than "Eyes Closed" and "Alone."
As a result, it seemed appropriate to move "Strangers" from a "2" to a "3" and bump "Now Or Never" from a "3" to a "4". I left "Bad At Love" as a "3".
Songs in bold are the bonus tracks on the deluxe edition.
4: "Now Or Never";
3: "Bad At Love"; "Strangers" (ft. Lauren Jauregui);
2: "Eyes Closed"; "Alone";
1: "100 Letters"; "Heaven In Hiding"; "Don't Play"; "Hopeless" (ft. Cashmere Cat);
0: "The Prologue"; "Sorry"; "Good Mourning"; "Lie" (ft. Quavo); "Angel On Fire";
-1: "Walls Could Talk"; "Devil In Me";
Summary:
I enjoyed several tracks on this album, and I could see myself enjoying more of the album if I invested more time into it. As it stands, I'm split on the album's tracks and wouldn't immediately enjoy the entire album as a whole.
After listening to the top five rated songs again I came to the conclusion that I liked "Now Or Never" best.
Overall Rating: 3.6/5
Favorite Song: "Now Or Never"
Second Favorite Song: "Bad At Love";
