Pre-Festival Thoughts:
I occasionally like listening to hip-hop, but I don't know the words to most of Snoop Dogg's music. On the other hand, I am familiar with many of the popular hits which feature Snoop Dogg and from what I can tell, his setlists heavily consist of such hits.

In the end, I feel like I should go see Snoop Dogg for the sake of seeing Snoop Dogg.

All things considered, I rated his music 7 out of 10 and my desire to see him perform was a 9 out of 10 (four-way tie for sixth place).

Setlist:
1) I Wanna Rock
2) P.I.M.P. (50 Cent cover)
3) Wiggle (Jason Derulo cover)

4) Ups & Downs
5) Let's Get High (Dr. Dre cover)
6) ?
-- smokes something fat, "You might not get this back."
7) The Next Episode (Dr. Dre cover)
8) ?
9) You and Your Friends (Wiz Khalifa cover)

10) Gin & Juice
11) ?
-- for all the fathers (Father's Day Anthem):
12) I Wanna Love You (Akon cover)
13) California Girls (Katy Perry cover)
14) I Love Rock 'n' Roll (The Arrows cover)
15) Hypnotize (The Notorious B.I.G. cover)

16) ? (2Pac cover) [as of 20150808 on setlist.fm, Snoop Dogg has covered '2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted' (44 times), 'Hail Mary' (8 times), 'California Love' (5 times), and 'Gangsta Party' (2 times)]
-- gets everybody's attention and gets everybody jumping:
17) Jump Around (House of Pain cover)
18) Drop It Like It's Hot
-- I started making my way back to the main Firefly Stage in order to hear The Killers.

Post-Festival Thoughts:
While I feel Snoop Dogg has plenty of talent, I felt the performance was more showy (entertainment-based) rather than artistic (skill-based).

Perhaps this is in part due to the majority of his performance consisting of songs on which he was featured and less of his original works.

In the end, I would easily watch him perform again, but I would come into the show with a different mindset.
