First listen.
Second listen.
4: "White Christmas";
3: "Jingle Bells" (with The Andrews Sisters); "Silver Bells" (with Carol Richards);
2: "Silent Night"; "Adeste Fideles"; "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen"; "I'll Be Home For Christmas"; "Santa Claus is Comin' To Town" (with The Andrews Sisters); "Mele Kalikimaka (Merry Christmas)" (with The Andrew Sisters);
1: "It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas"; "Christmas in Killarney";
0: "Faith of Our Fathers";
Summary:
"White Christmas" is obviously the big hit, but this entire album is full of great songs. I particularly enjoyed the tracks which Bing Crosby performed with The Andrews Sisters. However, the album falls a little short of being a 5.0 for me. This is mainly because the style of music might border on being old enough that I no longer enjoy it as much as more modern music.
Overall Rating: 4.8/5

20201209 Comment:
I guess rankings on the Billboard 200 for holiday albums are highly variable during the early holiday season, because during the chart week of 20201212, this album dropped from 75 to 147, while the album Christmas Classics went up in ranks from 50 to 23 and The Best of Bing Crosby: 20th Century Masters: The Christmas Collection re-entered the charts at 53.
20231223 Comment:
This year this album seems to show up in a manner that matches this entry.
#77 on the Billboard 200 (Week of 20231223).
