First listen.
2: "Joy to the World"; "Silent Night"; "Little Drummer Boy"; "The Carol of Joseph (I Believe in You)"; "O Come All Ye Faithful"; "Go Tell It On the Mountain" (with Gabby Barrett); "Angels We Have Heard on High";
1: "In The Bleak Midwinter" (Prologue);
0: "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" (ft. NEEDTOBREATHE); "Won't You Come"; "Heavenly Hosts"; "A Christmas Monologue"; "In the Bleak Midwinter" (Epilogue);
Summary:
I've heard a handful of their non-holiday songs before (e.g., "TOGETHER", "God Only Knows", "Burn The Ships", and "joy."). For the most part, this album has a different feel as compared to those songs. Three songs that are more reminiscent of their style are "Little Drummer Boy," "Go Tell It On the Mountain," and "Angels We Have Heard on High". In any case, the observation would imply that liking one side, their normal music or their holiday album, does not guarantee liking the other. Personally, I would have liked to have seen more of their musical style infused more heavily across the entire album. Note that this may feel more normal in their non-holiday songs, but there are various instances of tracks containing dead space - perhaps an unnecessary bridge. As it stands, I just didn't have a consistent experience which results in a lower album rating: 2.8.
Overall Rating: 2.8/5
