First listen. Standard.
I thought about giving this song a "3" ("Baby, It's Cold Outside")
This is the third version of "My Favorite Things" which I encountered this season. In fact, the last album I listened to, The Classic Christmas Album (Andy Williams), also contained a version of "My Favorite Things."
I've listened to "Wrapped in Red" several times wondering if I'm missing something about it. Occasionally I think about bumping it up to a "2." Ultimately, I don't think it has anything worth mentioning.

3: "My Favorite Things";
2: "Underneath the Tree"; "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas"; "Run Run Rudolph"; "Please Come Home for Christmas (Bells Will Be Ringing)"; "Blue Christmas"; "Baby, It's Cold Outside" (with Ronnie Dunn); "White Christmas";
1: "Wrapped in Red"; "Silent Night" (with Reba McEntire and Trisha Yearwood);
0: "Every Christmas"; "Winter Dreams (Brandon's Song)"; "4 Carats"; "Just for Now";

Summary:
For the most part I like the cover songs on the album and had trouble feeling the holiday spirit with the original songs. I feel a similar way towards other holiday albums I've been listening to, except certain albums have great originals, some which themselves became holiday classics. With that being said, the album as a whole felt cohesive and my intuition is to give the album a 4.2.

Perhaps "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" or "White Christmas" may be close competitors for the favorite song, but I think Kelly Clarkson's version of "My Favorite Things" has a great powerful sound to it which convinces me to choose it as my favorite.

Overall Rating: 4.2/5
Favorite Song: "My Favorite Things"
