Reason for Listening:
I had the urge to listen to Daydream after I heard "Fantasy" - one of several songs which played on Spotify after I finished listening to These Are Special Times (Celine Dion album).
Released 19951003.
12 songs. 46:42. Daydream (1995)

First listen.
Looking down at the various tracks in the album, I was curious how "Always Be My Baby" would fare against "Fantasy." At this point I was probably listening to the second or third track. Upon arriving at "Always Be My Baby," my impression was that it was the better song (a "5" versus the "4" I had assigned to "Fantasy"). To be sure, I queued "Fantasy" to play after "Always Be My Baby."
Upon listening to "Fantasy," I decided that I do in fact like "Always Be My Baby" more. I'm not entirely sure why. Maybe I like the lyrics more. Maybe it has some unknown nostalgic effect.
Songs in bold are the bonus tracks on the deluxe edition.
5: "Always Be My Baby";
4: "Fantasy";
3: "One Sweet Day" (with Boyz II Men); "Open Arms";
2: "Underneath the Stars"; "Melt Away";
1: "When I Saw You"; "Forever"; "Daydream Interlude" (Fantasy Sweet Dub Mix);
0: "I Am Free"; "Long Ago"; "Looking In";
Summary:
I recognized and loved four of the album's six singles. As for the remaining tracks, none particularly stood out as tracks I love but they also weren't bad. Overall, I think it's a strong album which is worth repeatedly listening to from start to finish.
Overall Rating: 5.0/5
Favorite Song: "Always Be My Baby"
