Reason for Listening:
#64 on the Billboard 200 (Week of 20191026). Weeks on Chart greater than 100.
Last Week: 66 | Peak: 22 | Weeks on Chart: 441.
Billboard Listing: Chronicle The 20 Greatest Hits - Creedence Clearwater Revival Featuring John Fogerty - [below album cover]
Chronicle The 20 Greatest Hits was the next album from the top of Billboard 200 which had been on the charts for greater than 100 weeks. It then occurred to me that many of the albums with many weeks on the charts are greatest hits compilation albums. In any case, I initially was thinking about skipping this album but then I thought about my desire to expand and expose myself to different music. Then as I started the album, I realized that I already knew (and enjoyed) many of these songs.
Released 197601.

First listen.
I'm not sure if I should put "Lodi" as a "2." In any case, I feel as though I like it more than "Bad Moon Rising."
I like "Fortunate Son" more than "Susie Q." I thought about assigning it a "4."
3: "Susie Q"; "Fortunate Son";
2: "I Put A Spell On You"; "Proud Mary"; "Down On The Corner"; "Lookin' Out My Back Door"; "Have You Ever Seen The Rain"; "Switch Hitch-Hiker";
1: "Bad Moon Rising"; "Lodi"; "Who'll Stop The Rain"; "Run Through The Jungle"; "I Heard It Through The Grapevine"; "Someday Never Comes";
0: "Green River"; "Commotion"; "Travelin' Band"; "Up Around The Bend"; "Long As I Can See The Light"; "Hey Tonight";
Summary:
Initially I spread the song ratings out and about halfway through the album I decided to consolidate them. With that being said, the album was solid and exceeded my expectations. I can definitely see myself enjoying this album as a whole.
Overall Rating: 4.8/5
Favorite Song: "Fortunate Son"
