Reason for Listening:
#3 on Billboard Top 200 (Week of 20191012).

*Off the top of my head, higher ranking songs, in no particular order, include the following: "Yesterday," "Let It Be," "Blackbird," and "I'll Follow the Sun." Also "Octopus's Garden" ranks higher than "Here Comes the Sun."

First listen. Anniversary Super Deluxe.
~Disc 1~
The Beatles have so many great songs.
Wow. I never really listened to the instrumentation in "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" before. In particular, it has a great sounding bass line.
I didn't recognize the following songs: "Because"; "Sun King"; "Mean Mr Mustard"; "Polythene Pam"; "She Came In Through The Bathroom Window"; "Her Majesty";
Nice. The stereo audio in "Sun King" was neat.

~Disc 2~
I don't know how the "original" version compares but this version of "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" has a nice sound to it. More raw I guess.
I really hear the bass line in this take of "Here Comes the Sun"
~Disc 3~
This instrumental version of "Something" sounds cool.

Songs which caught my attention: "Octopus's Garden"; "I Want You (She's So Heavy)"; "Sun King"; "Carry That Weight";

Summary:
To start, I enjoy various tracks since I have listened to them several to many times over the past years. While there are 17 tracks, the album is short. In general, this makes the album easy to listen to. All things considered, I could see myself listening to this album in it's entirety every so often. This should equate to a low four rating.

I came in with some bias, but choosing a favorite was still nontrivial. Ultimately I stayed with the song I favored from the start: "Octopus's Garden."

Overall Rating: 4.0/5*
Favorite Song: "Octopus's Garden"

*While I listened to the songs on all three discs, the rating is for the main album (17 songs on disc 1).
