First listen.
Harmonica on "Rolling Stone"
"Gasoline" has some nice guitar riffs but I don't like the screaming vocals.
The instrumental section which starts around the middle of "Bad Weather" is awesome. It really builds up and ends the album out with a bang.

Songs which caught my attention: "Bury My Bones"; "Glitter Ain't Gold"; "Bad Weather";

Summary:
Since starting this blog, I've listened to many new bands and artists. Whiskey Myers is one such and for the most part I like their sound. With that being said, I didn't like some of the songs on the album. I think overall I would give it a high 3, especially since I think it'd be an album which I could listen from start to finish after hearing it a couple of times.

It was hard picking a favorite between "Bury My Bones" and "Bad Weather." First, "Bad Weather" has the great instrumental second half but a little rough around the edges with the lyrical first half. Second, the song is six minutes long while "Bury My Bones" is a little under four and a half minutes. And last, but not least, "Bury My Bones" has a strong, upbeat tone while "Bad Weather" has a slow, somber tone. Thinking about the different bullet points, I ultimately chose "Bury My Bones" as my favorite.

Overall Rating: 3.6/5
Favorite Song: "Bury My Bones"
Second Favorite Song: "Bad Weather"*

*Listening to the song for a second time, the first half was actually not bad at all. Perhaps depending on my mood, I would like it even more than "Bury My Bones." The first half of the song reminds me a little of the song "Keep It Loose, Keep It Tight" by Amos Lee.
