Missing Last.fm Scrobbles

There was some hiccup with scrobbling my songs to Last.fm from Spotify. I thought it was a delay of some sort on Last.fm's end, but today I tried disconnecting and connecting the Spotify-Last.fm app and the scrobbles started working again.

As such, I suspected that songs over the last couple of days have not scrobbled. In the past I wouldn't have cared - I'm sure there's been plenty of times where I didn't scrobble songs for one reason or another. However, it's a new year and so I wanted to track some of the songs which I have played over the last couple of days.

To correct the problem, I filled a playlist with the songs that should have scrobbled and let the playlist play overnight. I could otherwise add the scrobbles manually but that would take a lot of work.

The playlist (and hence the scrobbles) will begin at 1:45 AM. The list has 103 songs and a duration of 6 hours 15 minutes. Furthermore, I will play set the play order to be alphabetical - starting with "Ain't Nobody's Problem" and ending with "You Always Make Me Smile."

One "problem" is this might screw with my Spotify stats (essentially doubling the play count on many songs...). I think in the long run I'd rather have a record on Last.fm and screwy Spotify stats over no record on Last.fm and proper Spotify stats.
