*The scrobble records suggests I was sporadically listening to various albums from start to finish on 20130803 and 20130804. I spotted the following albums as being heard in full: I Told You I Was Freaky (Flight of the Conchords), The Last Royals EP (The Last Royals), t w e n t y t h r e e (Tristan Prettyman), Cedar + Gold (Tristan Prettyman), Recovery (Eminem), The Second Gleam (The Avett Brothers), this album, and As The Crow Flies (Amos Lee).

Summary:
I was surprised by some of the tracks on this album, because many of them had a dark sound which I did not equate with Sara Bareilles's sound. In particular, I recall having once evaluated Little Voice and liked the sound enough to buy the vinyl album. This album, in contrast, is not one I would consider purchasing. Artistically, I respect the concept and sound of the album, but it didn't resonate with me, at least not as a whole on a first listen.
